The face of Hawaii is changing. Fly over any island, and you'll see solar panels and photovoltaic systems on rooftops and in fields. You'll glimpse white wind turbines rising above higher elevation terrain. While most of us prefer the natural beauty of these islands, to some this green technology is also a thing of beauty. It heralds a future in which Hawaii no longer depends on imported fossil fuels.
